Earlier this year, I complained about the park surrounding the Torre del Rame being in terrible shape. The weeds were more than knee-high, and the gravel pathways were all overgrown.

Back in LA a few months later, I can gladly announce that the council has been on site and has done a thorough cleanup of the park. Here’s the current view from the entrance:

The only confusing thing left is the tourist picture frame:

…which should be repositioned to be able to take a picture with the Torre on it. As it is now, you’ll only get trees.

On my wish-list:

• Keep maintaining the park around the Torre del Rame
• Move the tourist picture frame a few meters to line it up with the Torre (instead of a tree)
