Manual – Before you travel

Prior to packing your bags and boarding a plane, a few things should be prepared:

  • Make sure you have a long-time airport parking space arranged
  • Make sure our Spanish car is ready
  • Make sure you are picked up at the airport
  • Make sure the internet in the apartment is switched on

Long-time airport parking:
In Sweden we usually park our car at Benstockens. You can book shorter stays online or longer stays by telephone.

Spanish car-park:
Our Suzuki car with registration 1791BZX is parked at EcoParking. You can inform them online of the travel plans or send an email.

Included in the car-park contract is:

  • pickup from the airport
  • transfer to the parking space
  • a car wash

It is wise to announce your arrival a week in advance. The same goes when you go home again: let them know a week in advance you’ll be returning the car for a transfer to the airport.

At Alicante airport, you’ll first pick up your luggage. Then you proceed to the top floor of the airport terminal building. There you wait outside on the right-hand side of the area, usually they’ll arrive in the second lane from te building. Then call EcoParking to say you’re ready for pickup. They’ll confirm the ETA and their car is clearly marked with EcoParking.

Internet / Wifi:
The apartment has a pretty fast internet connection which can be accessed by Wifi. The speed is a whopping 500Mb and there’s no download limit. Available at a daily rate of €1, it is only switched on when the apartment is in use. The switching on and off can be done by emailing SquareMedia in LA. Switching on costs a few €, switching off does not cost anything. Don’t forget to have it closed!
